Having been about a while and seen many differnet businesses what do you prefer to use??? from what i ve seen....

the old sherpas were awesome but slow but never failed on a hill but too old now.

the ldvs seem to be used a lot but are god awful in every way.........

Transits are ok but rust like mad and due to high reving engines are woeful on wet grass even!

unimogs are not cheap but good id love one...

the new mitsub L200 is too light for towing, rear springs are way too soft and its too car like and plastic to last 5 mins......powerful but back wanders about when towing.

The old nissan d21 was great as i had one....reliable but slow but low so easy to load!! as is the old L200 and hilux!!

New hiluxs and nissan navaras seem way to tarty...look too flash for turning up to job...oh hes making too much money but you would nt use it for work either......:laugh1:

Well im a land rover man myself having had:

1988 hi cap with a 3.9 perkins diesel....lasted 3 years, a gearbox a year cos of the torque!! was noisey but pulled anything and was really spacious!

1988 110 van 200tdi....should nt have sold it! was great and even drove it to croatia and back!

Now i run a 1955 series 1 86" hardtop with a disco 200tdi on veg oil!!

Landrovers all the way for me. A 2002 td5 110 commercial all suited & booted, & 95 Forestry registered 300td1 Disco with 3" lift, Anaconda tyres & pulls anything anywhere! & a Jag, but I find it's crap in the woods, but much better in the car parks!
