I've just finished this book, and if you havent read it yet, it revolves around the quest to find and climb the tallest Redwoods in the US, and Eucs in Oz. Heres a link to some photos of Sillet, Taylor and Antoine, and if you get the chance to beg/borrow/steal this book, its well worth the read:thumbup1:

I started reading it when I came back from the AA show, but I spent so long cross-referencing with articles in Nat Geographic and various other books/internet that it took an age to read. By the way I bought the book from Jo Ryan at Treesource, if anyone is looking for it:thumbup1:

Here comes the controvesial bit, I read it and although it is a good read, its a little bit condescending, and tends to veer towards the "I'm so wonderful, look at me" school of writing. I thought that the first half of the book was a little bit twee and hard to read, but it definatley picks up towards the end.... Just my opinion...
