Theres a new version of the sugoi out for all you big saw fans. Its slightly longer, 420mm instead of 360mm, and it comes in a straight sheath so you can sheath it either way round.

I want one!

Yes there are quite a few new saw's from Silky but will we ever get to see them over Here? We only have the European Distributor to thank for that!

I like my Natanokko (sp?) I'm limited to a few saws though, as the curved ones do not have the option of a lefthanded scabbard.

 

I just bought a Natanoko for the same reason and i'm glad i saw this posting coz i wasn't sure you could flip the saw over in it's scabbard like the gomtaro. There's also a curved version of the nat. but it's scabbard it straight - can you put that in backwards too?!

I got a samurai a few weeks back because it was cheap- mistake! As steve said when he opened the thread, they bend!

not used my samurai much yet but ive not had any problems with it bending either. im sure by the sounds of it it's only a matter of time but it was free with total arb so what the hey

Had a Zubat 300 for years and have just gone upto a 330, it's amazing what a difference 30mm can make, I'm sure it cuts faster with the longer blade on.

 

Might have a look at the Natanoko 2000 at the AA Trade fair or the APF as i like the look of the slightly straighter blade, which i think will make it easier to get cuts to line up when taking out a mouth/gob.

Tried the zubat. Too big

Tried the Natonoko. Great but not for small branches, they just rip!

Chap I work with has a big Silky saw yellow thing but is always borrowing my Gomtaro. Nuff said.

All the above great for catchin yr brand new Sips ansd shreading them. Good for the red stuff too:bawling:

Zubat 330 here but like the look of the natanoko 2000. But why fix whats not broken...
