I feel a lot of people do it partly for something to do and partly to keep in with all their friends and the social side of it.

exactly, i asked people why did they choose that uni, most of them answered 'the nightlife is good and theres this bar that does this and this event every week'

Imalmost T total, and i go to uni to learn stuff!

spot on bolt. how many of these old boys :P had ECU's and pentium processors bolted onto thier engines?

I can still run rings round Toyota Technicians, they are useless without a computor.

They told me my turbo was knackered on my 3 year old Toyota Amazon and that it would be around £2.5K to fix

I asked if turbos regularly went on amazons with 30k on the clock.

"No" They said.

"So would you suspect that a sensor is faulty rather than the turbo seen as the car is running perfectly fine"

He just stood there like a numpty.

Turned out to be a loose connection, which I found.

Just one of a catalogue of laughable incidents with toyota techs, problems they have mis-diagnosed which deano diagnosed properly with no computor

ECU's? If I remember correctly the foil from a 10 pack of Embassy number six folded in half was 8 thou - so you could set the points anyware

The things a fag packet could be used for eh. 25 thou points, foil around a blown fuse, write a quote on it :001_smile:
