Who's got a CSCS card?

Ok im guessing those who do work on any construction site should. My question is which one off the list do you apply for????

Mine ia a white card and says "construction related occupation" on it, i filled the paper work in and called them up and they told me what to put.

Just the basic one mate, can't remember the title. The test is an absolute piece of pee, just get hold of the question book to help with the non-arb answers.

Yeah i've had to sit the same test for my CPCS card for the hiabs.

You will need to be a complete blithering idiot to fail it!!!! if you do fail you shouldnt be in any trade but sat at a desk to be honest!!!

in my experience depends building site to building site some are really hot on it and some dont care. am thinking about getting one though save the hassle when i go on a site where there really hot on it.

To qualify for any of these cards Tree Surgeons must pass the Operative Health and Safety Test.

CRO (white card) covers me for all vegetation clearance including associated machinery use ie mulchers, grinders chippers etc

white card for me took me 5 minutes to pass

Mine says basic site skills only which covers making tea and warming seats in the induction room I think. But it allows me on construction sites. They ask for my nptc cards when I've been on and they accept those together.

 

I did the test not long after I was 17 and passed my driving test. Didn't even read up on anything. It's all common sense.

got a blue card for 180/360 machines and dumpers,like the man said h&s exam easy ,common sense really.
