Does the screen side of these actually work? Or do you end up pawing at a screen that doesn't detect your finger or does so spazzily like when they get wet?

I've always used the spigen screen protectors from again. They're the only ones I've found that actually work with your thumb print

That one you've linked looks like it would be horrendous.

Definitely the rubber cases from Spigen, plus whatever glass screen protectors are on offer on Amazon as they're disposable maybe a couple a year as mine gets plenty of abuse.

I've always used a screen protector, made of Gorilla Glass, (whatever that is), or similar. Always works a treat. You barely notice it's on there, certainly doesn't effect screen functionality.
