I have a very special set of skills.

Generally being good pissing everyone off and an average jack of most trades.

As a few have said, any more you will need a warrant, anything you do say may be given in evidence and all that good stuff.

Self employed small business owner, with one full time employee.
Been in the business 30 years.

Have zero problem  these days with people remaining anonymous on here.

If they break the rules Steve breaks out the ban hammer.

Otherwise, it’s the internet with all that entails.

Very true Mick, some like yourself are open and stick up the odd pic etc etc as do I. Some choose to remain totally anonymous 🤷‍♂️that is a personal choice, on the other hand if you have an opinion on a topic like the Double can pick up taxation changes for example ( actually in the case of SP on most things ) to the extent you are creating hypothetical turnover and vehicle use scenarios to justify your point of view then it’s not unreasonable to ask from what perspective you are looking at it. Obviously in this instance SP does not want to say 🤷‍♂️. Rather than piss about avoiding the question at all costs just come out with it like an adult and admit “id  rather not say”.  Surely that’s far better than playing dumb when the question is asked.

There's a lot to be said for that.

Edit: the jack of most trades part that is, not the pissing everyone off bit. That's only useful occasionally.

Edit Two:

I was born in the wagon of a travelling show...

...my momma used to dance for the money they'd throw.

I sort of fell into everything I do by chance. Grew up in a farming area, so worked on farms as I grew, and when I got married, got a tied house. Bosses son went to college and trained for my job, so I was redundant for a month. Moved to my present dwelling over 40 years ago, worked there for many years, until I was made redundant again. Went self employed, and carried on working as a Handyman/Landscaper/Builders Labourer and the like.

I also work in the night time economy, again by serendipity. I was a Young Conservative. ( The costs were lower than Young Farmers, and the girls didn't smell of animals as much 😄) They decided to hold a Christmas party, and the question was asked " who's got the biggest record player"? Muggins here said me, so became responsible for playing the songs from a somewhat limited repertoire, and a young lady came up and said " I'm having a party next week, if I give you some money, will you play at that" ? I'm now going out with a few grand's worth of gear and still enjoying it, just like the Day Job. I must be crackers. 🤪

Real name is Andrew. I was in the scout's as a kid and became interested in the outdoors. Started volunteering at the local scoutcamp, and got taught how lay hedges by one of the old boy's who had also been a forester before becoming the head groundsman for the local Abbey. Left school and did a year of ecology and conservation, then moved on to arb. Got all the tickets that were available at the time and moved on from there. Worked domestic, commercial, utility, rail, crane work, forestry and planting and a load more that I can't be arsed typing. Got diagnosed with Epilepsy about 12/13 years ago. Spent atleast 10 of those years not being able to drive, which made work hard to find. After 20 years of tree work I decided to retire and get a proper job. I now sell chainsaws and arb equipment.

Clearly he’s not going to answer, you’ve made your point, so why don’t you do the forum (and yourself) a favour and stop asking?

I could but I’m a stubborn c..t Mick and fine with it.
He’s got plenty to say often about my own situation including my job and taxation etc

“ I’d rather not say”  would allow him to wriggle off the hook.

You are.

I don’t think so 🤷‍♂️

The person refusing to answer a question or disclose any information would generally be considered the one “ on the hook” apparently not in this case.

We won’t ever agree on much  Mick as well you know. I dare say if a different person had asked the question you may well be offering a different opinion.
