I don't get the appeal as they seem for the  very small niche between a silky /loppers and the smaller battery topper saws. Since I got a 18v makita,  I have not use the silky as much.

I had a quick play with an aliexpress version a fews ys ago. The chains looked very tiny thus fiddly to sharpen and no oiler i think recall?

Thoose cordless secateurs that can cut say 40mm look very useful and you can also get them fitted on poles.

Think you  have to be very mindful of fingers with theese smaller one hand tools due to them being so useful to cut and hold- not a good practice safety wise....

I bought one a year or so ago. It's a bit gimmicky but I thought it might be easier than a silky. If it had an attachment point for a lanyard it would be more useful and I've never gotten around to bodging something together. It's handy by the chipper for the odd branch that needs snedding, but I bought a little Echo since and haven't looked back. The new version gta 40 is around the £250 mark and I'd put that money towards an Echo CS2511TESC for what it's worth.

excellent bit of gear. well worth the money.

great for fiddly little cuts where the silky struggles to fit.

and small pruning thats mostly silky with a few bigger lumps.

battery life sucks arse a bit of youre doing anything big but if its small stuff its great.

Yes I have them and they can come in handy I find if your cutting hedges on the top of a set of ladder and come across a a thick branch they save busting your long reach cutters , I bought the Milwaukee ones first thinking more powerful but the chain if far to aggressive and snatched it out of your hand on thin stuff , worth the money
