That looks nice and dry at least, hope she heals well. She'll need to get used to the lampshade though, suppose a couple of weeks for the stitches?

She is doing OK at the moment, if you look at the top centre of photo there is a drain on the inside of what is her left leg, that has been weeping but its supposed to but has dried up this last 36hrs, op was done last monday and we are back at vets on wednesday to access when stitches are coming out,,

Oh well it's been a rush round this last hour or so,, I came home at about 4 ish had a brew  made a few phone calls then went and cut grass, both dogs out with me till I started mower up then they went back inside ,,I then followed shortly after and noticed something hanging down from under pepper, then on closer inspection part of her gut is hanging out where she had stitches, my first thought was is that dog trans gender !! So straight on phone to vets who close at 5pm, but one did ring me back with in 2 mins, so load up abd off to the vets who's 5 mins up Rd and she was all ready there with some stuff almvready set out,   So pepper  back in vets over night and being stitched up as I write this,,

  • 2 weeks later...

Very hot here at the moment for a double coated Spitz dog.  Changing tha habits bit to try and get her to chill during the day.  Walking in the morning before it gets too hot, and again I. The evening for a longer walk in the shade of the woods.

Ball watching.

Well a lot has happened since last post, all this started a wk today since when Asha through her tea up, Friday she was drinking a lot more than usual abd bringing it back, sat she started passing blood so of to vets and treated for a viral infection and suspected rat poision consumption, sat and sun she was very lethargic and now drinking very little, started syringing water In to her mouth o  Sunday, Monday back to vets bloods taken and results back over night, Tuesday when results back ut was in to the vets again abd Asha put on a drip abd been there ever since, last thing she ate was a wk ago but just had a report from the vet abd she has eaten a little today so fingers crossed we are coming out the other side now,, its as I said to some one today if a labrador don't eat for a day it's ill yet alone nothing for a wk ,, all been confirmed as rat poision ingested and we just been to get her eating now to clean her gut out,, not be long before she is out charging about and doing 100 mile a day,,
