Braque d'Auvergne x (Boxer x Lab x Rhodesian Ridgeback). Mother was a fairly slight pointer, dad was an incredibly-gentle hulking great brute. He got his mother's build and his father's bravado. Real shame we had his balls cut off, because he is genuinely one of the best dogs I've ever known, and would have produced great puppies.

Is that photo taken in the Lincolnshire Wolds?

Good eye you've got there, those photos were actually taken during our historic first ski descent of the north east ridge of Meagram Top. Visible in the background is the fearsome south face of Bluestone Heath.

Bet you have your hands full with your beagle [emoji15][emoji15]
How did you know?! He was a handful as a pup but plenty of exercise and consistency regarding training keeps him in order! Have to say my partner is the better dog trainer, she has even managed to train me up a little! But for all his beagleyness I love the little fella, he curls up on yer lap and snores for the evening, have to love the whole hearted aroos too!! Had two shepherds in a previous life, must put up a pic or two of them..

Beagles, the most disobedient dog know to man!  So much character, so little care for anything else apart from what it wants to sniff!  I knew 2 beagles called Tootsie and Bomber at a kennels we worked at for 9 months.  Out of 50 dogs, those 2 were always last at coming back and first to go ?

Have to say that this little fella has a magnetic attraction to food, he once ate a tub of peanut butter, tub included! He has a great recall though, as beagles go.. and if that fails I just send the shep to retrieve him!! Great watchdog, all jokes aside. Very alert, it was him that alerted me to intruders in the yard just last week, he even went down the lane arooing them.

they must have had food in the car!
