Sat down for 1 of my other breakfasts earlier and decided I’d had enough of my conny hedge, so removed that, then got told about a box full of cakes along the rd, then went to get fencing panels and came back and started de mossing my roof but got bored of that slow process.  Went and took the larch out a boggy bit of ground with the digger as a village favour then been back eating more cake.

I reckon taking that connie hedge out can only be classed as pottering as presumably you did it with the shear, sitting in a nice digger cab. Had it been with a chainsaw might be a bit of a stretch to call it potttering, but then then I suppose the village goodwill job swings it as a potter overall.

Gathered lots of brash and scrap wood from around the garden and made a new border along part of the drive, filled hugelculture style, partly with woodchip and part big chunks, then managed to top it with a few barrowloads of soil from one of my spare mounds before it was time to collect the children. Another 6 or 7 barrows should just about do the trick. I have all sorts of rescued plants waiting to go in.

Nothing technical, just titivating between cups of tea, coffee and biscuits.

Contemplated my project piece, but it's beer o'clock so another day. You can't rush time you know.😊

Last day in paradise, will sit on the beach with a crossword or two, make a few rock stacks, stand in the sea admiring the view, watch the Vultures gain height to cross the mountains and think about what to eat for supper!
