if u want gearbox rebuilt, Last Transmissions are good, in Newbourne

Thank ya, I got the box off at the side of the road, that was fun! It’s at Durston’s near Sudbury, it’s FUBAR. I’ve been talking with a bloke in Lincoln who breaks these old vans, hopefully he’s going to run a secondhand one down tomorrow. Because it’s an oddball and 30 years old no garage wants to touch it. I will name him, massive thanks to @dumper for the offer, top bloke.

Nothing glamorous, it’s a talbot express, not quite the same as my last camper which was a Merc 811D.

Brilliant little camper if you can keep the rust away, gearbox is one of those things that can fail in any motor.

Ah, Dumper, met him once, did up an 026 with sentimental value from what I can remember...decent fella.

And it goes on, new clutch at the same time as the s/h box and it’s gone bang again😂 it’s a good job I’ve got a sense of humour! Bloke I got it from is couriering another box down to me tomorrow FOC.
