He's buried in Winchelsea. The parish council wouldn't allow that to be engraved on the headstone but agreed that it could be in Gaelic. Come  the day of the race it was noticed that it had been engraved in Scottish Gaelic, Back to the stonemasons it went to be replaced with the Irish Gaelic version,

I'm puzzled now as to why the PC should object to that being engraved in English, any idea why?
