Warning to anyone working in North East England - South Tyneside (East Boldon) area

A client was late paying me once.

So I went round his house, broke in, took his family hostage, locked them in the basement, set fire to the house, salted the earth round his house and had witches place a curse on his extended family for eternity.

Went home and found the chèque in the post box!

Still laugh about it now!

The difference there is that you actually completed the work and were owed the money, so you were entirely justified. Purser would agree I'm sure, and he's almost a lawyer.

I was definitely planning on doing the work soon, that’s true.

It doesn't get you paid. God knows what prosecution you're opening yourself up to. You imperil innocent neighbours. It doesn't get you paid.

It is not about money, I risk my life every day I don’t give a … about prosecution ,bad people deserve bad action, well neighbours is collateral damage by democratic standards it’s acceptable.

You come across as mentally unstable.

People commuting to work risk their lives each day crossing the road.

You've missed the point that the client isn't behaving unreasonably. The OP has asked for payment in advance when that was not part of the agreement, and the customer has refused which is well within their rights.
