Vat reclaimable on the two seat van version but it isn't Tacho prepped and any work around will void the warranty! They should work well with proven undercarriage from BMW, ZF and Carrero and folk I know that have them, really rate them as a Disco type alternative.

 

Crewcab falls down on not being able to carry enough.....

 

I got told that they have a couple which have done 1,000,000 miles apiece with nowt but usual service wear/tear stuff. 

 

Only outfit that have put a right good warranty on - Ford commercial warranty is 60k miles agin theirs of 5 years and unlimited mileage.....

They haven't proven it yet as the customer is the test base so until it's done a few years out in the domain they can't set it up.

Onve it's done a few years then they can adjust the manufacturing process to make it work.

Would you want to pay that sort of money to be a test subject?

If you go commercial then check the speed limits as the grenadier is over 2040kg so not a dual purpose vehicle. Think you'll be at 60 on dual carriageway.

What do you want it to do / use it for? There's a big difference between having a commercial body version and a car like version. 

New defender comes in both formats too as well I think 

Is it a personal purchase or one through the company  

If its a business purchase just get the commercial one , reclaim the VAT and I really don't think it will matter which of them you buy, they will all be good cars. 

 

I struggle to see the point of the commercial bodied ones tbh. better off with a decent pickup.
