Time to mix it up a bit.

 

The Chemical Brothers.

They've never done it for me, not even close. Not exactly sure why. Other dance/electronic outfits from the same epoch like Leftfield, The Orb, The Prodigy and Massive Attack were far better.

I've always loved the Stones' stuff and Hackney Diamonds is a darned good album.

But men of that age shouldn't be doing stuff live; I find it embarrassing.

The Stones have got to be one of the best, truly authentic Rock and Rollers. But I agree, they should quit when they're ahead.

Interesting appraisals of their latest album. I admit I'd written it off until now, but it sounds like it's worth seeking out.

Whilst making supper last night, I asked Google to play Bat out of Hell. Then reflected that that was a truly epic album but Bat 2 was crap!
