Second hand value on 572/62

Both of my saws, 572 is just over one year old and my 562 was bought in April or so.

Both still in warranty for another year, and I was wondering how much they would ideally sell for as second hand saws? There's nothinng wrong with them but I'd like to sell them (at least the 72) as I'd like to get a 372.

All I can find on the dreaded fb market place is just people selling broken ones or in bundles.

Warranty is irrelevant as it's not transferable. Only applies to the original purchaser. A common mistake.

If you have the original purchase receipt with the same name and details on it as it's been registered on the Stihl warranty system, and it's not queried or you happen to forget the original purchasers registered details when asked, then sure there's always a way to buck the system. But my point is still correct and valid

This thread is about husky I don’t see stihl mentioned anywhere machine taken in backed by the original purchase receipt to showing where and when purchased is good enough for most dealers

Warranty was mentioned by the OP. I pointed out it shouldn't be used as a selling aid as warranty, whether stihl or husky it still isnt transferable. I happened to mentioned stihl in error as i am a stihl dealer, however that point is irrelevant, as the facts are correct, and like i mentioned earlier there are ways to buck (or con) the system.

Don't get too worked up about it.

Pleasant is correct  and I am fairly sure the warranty changed to one year.

12 months pro use, 24 months domestic....well, thats Stihl anyway. And the 12 month warranty is only on pro model stihls.  Buy a domestic model for pro use and you dont get 12 months warranty.

....but I am  digressing now. Thats enough about warranty
