Morning all,

Second day dismantling two ashes, using subbie climber. Went well yesterday. Doug, you have my sympathy with having to remain polite with busybodies. Stephen, perhaps you should only count digging out the stumps as pottering if you do it manually!

Good point, I retract all mention of stump removal.  The chances of me being sidetracked from the stumps are pretty high so I probably jumped the gun a bit and now I think of it, I had planned my pottering!  So no way that’s pottering, I’m now questioning my life!

Morning all.

Knackered this morning but the weekend's on the horizon!

Had one of those days yesterday on a badly compromised council Beech over some gardens. An eco protester positioned in the drop zone, irate neighbours, several different council people visiting site... Diplomacy is hard work.

Hoping today I can just rig some timber in peace!

Have a good one folks.

No spring chicken these days see Doug.

Bit of a late one and didn't sleep well as it was last night here! Driving back across the island in a bit, home soon after 16:00. Check out the road up to the top of Imbros on Google Maps!

Justin, Thyme. Saved the rest of the crosswords for the flight.

Left Chania in 32 with clear sky. The wait in the breeze was like being in front of an open fan oven! Landed at EMA to drizzle and 16. Body clock all wrong too. Off to help Bonus Daughter with horse then to Retford before home to hear how Tom and Bad Apple Racing did at Pod. Heating on too! Not get a chance to post tomorrow but have a good day all!

I've driven down the road from Imbros to Hóra Sfakíon a couple of times, for the ferry. Talk about scenic.

I feel your post holiday blues pain! Even worse coming back to this autumn drizzle in the Midlands.
