Morning all . Spent 12 hours in bed mostly coughing up thick green shit up from my bronchial tubes . The most peculiar sounds when breathing ! Doc has given me Doxycycline 100mg 8off .  Two to start with then one a day till they are gone .

Morning all, lazy day today which is a good thing with storm Bert currently thrashing rain against the window. Apparently the Mrs says I’m putting the Christmas trees up after venturing in the loft to get them 🤣. So might not be a lazy day after all. Anyway, have a great weekend everyone whatever you’re up to 👌🏻.

Doxy - keen stuff! Three days time you'll be dancing the light fandango! I keep a stock of it at home for when the next bout of pneumonia comes! Have lifetime supply of carbocistene which loosens stuff and makes it easier to rid the the lungs of loose packing! The missus is use to the breathing gurgles and whistles now....

That sound is very nasty, look after yourself and don't mix booze with the antibiotics. At this time of year you may need to boost your vitamin D

Not had a cold for at least 20 years Pete . I can only have the amount the doc prescribes so cant keep a stock . Must have an expiry date anyway ? . When I was a kid you could get an expectorant called Benyline . used to work a treat , helped you sleep as well .  Years later they took something out of it and it was never much good after that .
