They ask you questions, they make you do things, they are often conducted  in isolation away from other candidates….. you get the picture.

That seems ok! I just wondered how they organised it all.

Other than patience and maybe a little bit of compromise. For a free chainsaw ticket it's worth jumping through a few minor hurdles, they're not asking you to strip and rebuild a chainy

I would happily strip and rebuild theirs!!

You are right in what you say though!

Just realised that's why I failed mine, I felled the actual crayon rather than drawing with it.

Easy mistake to make.

Last time I did a chainsaw assessment I noticed that the covers to all the electrical sockets in the training room been scribbled all over with what appears to be crayons. "So what's up with all the crayon scribbles on these sockets?” I asked the assessor. "Oh, I did that," he replied "My psychiatrist told me I needed some creative outlets."

Don't do it! I turned up to course in my slippers, and would you believe it they said i had to wear my own boots to walk across the woodchip covered yard before i could get them under cover😱

They weren't bothered about the slippers, it was the ladies bathrobe leaving very little to the imagination!
