Cleaning up chain oil spills

My T150 is great but the oil cap can twist internally and you think its secure and its not.

All the oil can come out before you know it usually all over  a front drive or patio

Anyone know the best way to clean of these stains..???

Thanks

Best thing is an anti spill spout and a spill mat to stop it going on the floor in the first place.
Get yourself an old plastic tub like the ones you get trade emulsion in. Clean it out, a spill mat, put in a small bag of cat litter ( very absorbent)  for any larger spills , a dustpan and brush, black bags and a few zip ties.
Spill kit for less than a tenner.

Depends on the driveway surface material . Most natural stone, york/Indian are absorbant.  Think you're knackered if it's that type. Whatever surface deal with it asap. I put sheets down on natural stone patios. The oil flicking off the chain can make a mess

I'd go with the the 'bund' idea, don't let yourself get in a situation where an oil spill will cause a problem

If only you had access to something like sawdust to clean up the majority of a spill.... scrubbed into the remaining oil, brushed up and then clean up as above

There’s a definite knack to making sure Stihl caps are done up correctly, you just need to learn it.

Don’t overfill with oil either.

This . Remember more than once sending an 020 up to the climber after a refill and most of the oil running down his leg as he un clipped it .
