I'm still scarred by the memory of having to wait 28 days for my Beano dennis the menace fan club badge

I seem to remember that there were gnasher codewords in that wallet, but it was a long time ago and I'm struggling to recall the details.

I suffered a brake in back in September and consequently wound down the business. Before hand I looked to see if I could replace what was taken but there was hardly anything... No Husqvarna battery tools. No  Blowers nothing..

I never believe the internet, when I order it’s by phone the first question is is it in stock?  The second when can I have it and the third who’s delivering it, what I like is honesty and I value this above price,I like the person who answers the phone to have some idea what I’m talking about and not be passed around, I realise this service costs and has to be paid for

Mail order forms used to say "Please allow 28 days for delivery"

I remember those days. Imagine trying to get away with that in this day and age! 😃

Apropos of nothing.

I remember going into a arb shop over a decade ago, some kid kept calling me ‘mate’

I told him ‘I’m not your mate, I’m the client’ (I was at nearly 50 at the time) he got quite offended.
