Get a new set. Not worth your safety.

They look a little bent elewhere too, and to snap they must have been abused or fatigued.

Have they not been written down, so own you nothing? They are telling you to replace them if they are that worn out they are breaking. Silly to compromise on safety....especially if they have done their money no doubt several times over.

Cheers guys. Yea looking like a new set of ladders. I just work for the company and I broke them so guess they will have to come out of my own back pocket. That’s why I thought I’d see what response I’d get

If you are an employee, there is no reason for you to pay, unless you want to.

My henchman ladders snapped off one day at work. I was wondering if it’s worth trying to get welded or should I buy a new set of ladders?

What exactly were you doing with them when they ‘snapped’??!?

Actually, as they’re someone else’s, it may be safer not to say.

Unless you have willfully damaged them I don't think you should be paying.  Look well used, maybe a bit of metal fatigue?

Also, that looks like a tricky weld

A lad at work (no longer working for us) showed me out of a tricky manoeuvre and they hit a sign on the road. So I don’t really no what position I am in. Was it my fault. Was it the lads fault, was it unlucky. Who pays? It’s looking like me
