Isn't that just making a capacitor but using carbon, I would be pretty impressed if they could switch the material from trees byproduct to recycled tyres. 

 

It's effectively a coaking process.

I will go down to the Lucas Mill tomorrow and mill an electricity board!   I could mill several boards and the competition between them should lower the price of the electricity!

No, its a battery not a capacitor. Seems there's plenty of the lignin just being burnt already so seems like a really good idea to me. Recycling afterwards should also be easier, is another of the problems with Li batteries.
