I’m missing the point - OKaaaaaaaaaay…..

Then you post a link to a guardian article which (I only read the first few paragraphs before getting bored) seemed to pretty much support the point I must be missing….

frankly - CGAS. I’m out.

No, the Guardian article totally agreed with your point of view.

If you're comfortable with that, then there's no problem.

Kev, it started as a bit of gag.

Then Clarkson actually got a bit serous at times and pointed out how current policy will kill farming and the countryside as we know it forever.

It’s worth a watch.

He’s a big, fat petrolhead media whore, but I don’t know a single farmer who doesn’t find merit in the message he is trying to put across.

About 5 minutes before realising how shite it would be. What do you suggest is the fundamental message that the show portrays?

Maybe be a bit more open minded and give it another go, you never know you might find yourself enjoying it, if anything , the comedy aspect

It's worth it

(Sorry dunno why it's quoted coppice cutter too)

So you're getting all hot and bothered about something that you didn't even watch because you thought you knew what it would be like anyway.

Hmmmmmm!

I think you’re confusing CGAS with hot and bothered.

Clarkson isn’t worth my time and I’m frankly amazed that anyone would suggest him as an advocate or ambassador for modern agriculture.

Policy is often madness, practice is almost without exception worse (especially when it is thought no one can see it.)

Go on, like I even need to ask, I bet Clarkson expressed support for the badger cull?

Maybe in future I'll not bother reading your posts and just react to them based on what I expect you to have said.
