Late to the party I know.   1.  The tree was cut down correctly but I would say by people who didn’t appreciate that the tree would sucker.   2.  Simply cutting around the cambium and using glysophate, rock salt or something else would help to kill off the tree.   3.  Cutting down/poisoning the stump is no guarantee that the tree won’t sucker from the root system.     4.  The tree surgeon should have informed the client of this.   5.  It isn’t your

Then they'll be shouting about how he drives around in 100k+ worth of equipment.

 

That's the reality of needing such equipment, you have hours to harvest and bigger gets it done quickly, as with big acres can't be sat waiting for a contractor to do all the other jobs on the list first.

 

It's not huge profits, but large sums of money moving like a tide for a modest profit.
