That having been said, I've also a Husky dealer and a Screwfix about 10 minutes away as well.

You sound like using it for similar amounts of time as me. It will be more than adequate.

Yeah, you really need to try to figure out what you might be able to add in future to make it viable.

 

Not easy when you have pretty much everything you need but don't know what might give up first, if at all, to need replaced.

I don't know if you have any existing tools but Milwaukee just bought out a dual battery one. With the cost of batteries it's worth considering if you'll buy more tools from the same brand in the future.

 

I would go battery now but I have been impressed with our petrol mitox which was cheaper, more powerful and a longer warranty that the husqvarna we also looked at.

No, I don't have anything currently that would take me in any direction, would be so much simpler if I had.

 

Main battery contender at the minute would be Makita as they have such a range of stuff available to further utilise the batteries in future, both garden equipment and hand tools. Their hand tools are well known to be as good as any and I've read quite a few older posts on here from owners of their garden equipment which seem to be equally good.

 

However, I can buy locally an Echo 2620 with five year warranty for less than the Makita twin 18v hand held blower bare.

 

I'm struggling to see beyond old school ATM to be honest!

I have alot of  the 18v makita stuff topper chainsaw drills strimmer hegde trimmer etc but haven't got a blower yet (I use a husky petrol blower )as the battery blower runtimes & blowing power was low V the petrol handheld ones.

 

Seem blowing is something that eats batteries faster than some other types of  battery tools.

Small garden. By the time we extend the patio in phase 2 there won’t be enough left to bother keeping any at all

Still don't get why spray as you will still need to strip the  dead turf if replacing with something else??

I sprayed off the area underneath the swing set prior to putting down the sleepers, membrane and chips, and just got a bit carried away with the sprayer whilst I was at it.
