Pick it up, rub it between your fingers as if your Chris Packham and smell it, as someone as said - if it stinks it’s Fox scat or possibly Packhams personality🤔. A hedgehog passing something the same size as a middle finger would be equal to a human crapping an oxy or acetylene bottle😳
