Sad to hear this.

I’ve listened to him since the eighties, I think he’s going to be a big loss. He manages to accompany you for a few hours every day without pissing you off, unlike Zoe Ball who is gushy, false and annoying.

 

Sara Cox is good no doubt, but Scott Mills is borin’ as you like (no g)

A few of the good ones have disappeared to the dark side ! Simon Mayo is on greatest hits still drive time nearly as it was on the beeb

Simon Mayo was a good show.

I understood that the whole day on R2 was all white males up to a few years ago. That had to change.

Sara Cox is very good IMO, funny, spontaneous and professional.

 

Zoe B is unbearable for me.

 

I guess it was Wrighty or Ken Bruce, KB does a lot of ‘Charridy’ stuff  so is less vulnerable.

Yeah, I suppose chopping in a white male for another white male (that is gay) helps tick a box somehow. 
I can’t listen to Zoe Ball, she’s absolutely terrible IMO. Vernon Kaye has been on this week and he’s much better, but I tend to listen to Radio 4 until 9am (largely because of Zoe Ball!).
No way can I listen to Scott Mills at any time of day, he only spouts childish crap…
