I guess I could load all the knotty twisty lumps up first, give those away and then return to site, load all the nice straight knot free stuff and take that back to the yard [emoji2]

A half decent petrol splitter will just smoosh its way through that. Will pay for itself in a weeks use. Plus these knotty bits burn well.

Some knotty Beech last night.

Big Ron hasn’t actually said he’s processing and selling it on, it may be for his own use.
Course if he is reselling he’ll be on the registered approved database.

Sorry @oldwoodcutter that’s my fault.

no it would all be for our own use, we heat our cottage purely with wood using roughly 20m3 a year. I process it all myself just invested in a Rock machinery petrol splitter. We have 2 woodburners and a very cold old easterly facing exposed cottage 😂

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while. Registered as a site to tip, but, ideally after hardwood or soft, can take an array of sizes as long as not absolutely huge.

Based near Macclesfield, Bosley. Easy to reverse up and tip if needed.

@BigRonHow did you register as a 'Site to tip'?
