We will know by tomorrow ( Friday 13th ) if Ukraine gets the nod to send Storm Shadow and other long range kit deeper into Russia . Its looking likely I would have said .

Recently ( in the last few days ) Ukraine has destroyed three large munitions storage facility s . Ginormouse mushroom clouds at one of them with fires still burning . The last one was full up with stuff just got in from North Korea . The whole lot wiped out .  That has got to have pissed Putin off big time . 🙂

And the one that had the mental mushroom cloud seems to have housed one of Putins Satan 2 nuclear missiles . The official line from the Kremlin is the fires were caused by falling debris from shot down drones but experts say it was three direct hits . this from before and after satellite images .

India seems to be playing a tricky one here . On the face of it , outwardly , being one of Russia's closest allies whilst behind the scenes supplying Ukraine with bullets and artillery shells . Exporting them to some other country s but ultimately to Ukraine . Tricky . Incidentally Russian  losses in men has now exceeded  600K and the refinerys  that Ukraine hit are still burning 7 days later . How much longer do you guys think it will go on ?

Politically if it was a 'western' nation (European then) 600k of losses would be the end of it unless you'd been invaded... however if you control the media and operate in a democracy where one-man-one-vote and the president is that one-man it comes down to resources I think... and to that I am not sure... suspect Russia will stop 'invading' as much and consolidating while they rearm over the winter with a spring offensive next year at least.

Putin will not risk looking weak domestically, you can hide a huge amount from your population but withdrawing after suffering huge losses for no gain, even in Putin's Russia, would not go down well.  Hence. I see no likelihood of him withdrawing anytime soon.

Russia have blown the dust off the old D-74 122mm gun from the 1940s and are shelling Ukraine with those . Running short of modern ordinance ?
