Well the new KS1 army rifle is just under 10k each excluding optics and they've ordered 1600

Doubtful, if it was going that way you'd just get a few more EMPs and reduce the world to the dark ages.

Yeap, that seems to be the general information I've seen, it's just a fancy almost off the shelf Knights Armaments fancy AR15.

 

Especially after the gargantuan amount they've spent on the SA80A3 upgrade.
