Hi

i am in process of buying a property and the ground searches show 4 x trees nearby that are risk to shrink swell clay subsidence. Could anyone help identify this tree. To me it seems like an oak tree. It is 2.5m away from the property rear fence (closest one). I would like use the NHBC guidance to understand further.

If anyone has advice, pls do share. Many thanks

Hi Richyrich, Dan and Stere,

Thank you for your responses. I have gone back and got some further pictures. It has been hard to reach to the twigs so i have taken closer pictures20220301_134315.thumb.jpg.cde22d9c7c5ecfc3fd3ae629aa2c01a0.jpg

of the main stem.

I hope this helps in identifying this tree...
