Non chainsaw proof work boots

Hi everyone

As the title says I’m after a pair of non chainsaw protective work boots.
Currently I wear my Meindl Airstream‘s all the time but doing less and less chainsaw work recently.
Ideally after a pair of waterproof boots with a steel toe.
Something similar to the Meindl Airstream with out the chainsaw protection would be ideal.
A lot of my work recently is walking around people land and estates as well as tree planting ( not forestry spec rather groups or individual larger trees) and some hard landscaping work.

Just wondering what others wear and any recommendations.
Many Thanks

If you still require a steel toe cap I can't see that you are going to gain anything ( weight wise ) with non saw boots . Might as well keep what you have .

Don't like the gortex etc lined boots if that what you mean by waterproof as they are sweaty.

Had many fancy boots but  atm using

Screwfix dewalt bolster boots £40

and there as good as many of the more pricey ones i reckon...and leather with wax on is waterproof

Got a pair of Haix Trekker Pro 2.0 protective boots, not cheap but are waterproof had them on the other day wet grass and then rained all day and still dry feet after 8 hours.

Yep great boots for landscaping work. Once worn in, very comfortable with a decent pair of boot socks.

Not steely's but the ex army haix boots are very bad to beat for the money.

Ex army boots in general are very good nowadays

I've had a few of the top end walking/shooting boots over the years now looking at 300 quid odd for them and my 50 quid haix are just as comfy and lasting just as long, had a load of abuse this year on a clearing saw job and looking rough now but still almost water proof 4 years later

So far that’s what I’ve been doing as do love my boots and potentially might keep doing it. Just wanted to see what other options and potentially any cheaper ones there are so hopefully my chainsaw boots might last longer.
cheers
