It did leave a trace of oil when revved but it was very faint. I'm sure it's under-oiling. I'll try and take another look tomorrow and post some pics.

Silly question maybe... Have you adjusted the pump? I found mine under oiled out of the box but I think like yours it's adjustable and was turned quite low.

Just a note, never run the saw without the bar and chain fitted and the clutch still on, it can and will spin off on the over run, highly dangerous.

Us professionals have never done that.....glad I have a metal detector:$

Seriously....it isn't good when it happens!!!

Did that once with an echo 2511 in a car park while trying to figure out an oil issue. Clutch spun off and bounced a couple of times. Managed to catch it before it fucked off across the car park but I wasn't wearing gloves and it was still spinning a few thousand rpms 🤣

Wise words.

You’ll only do it once though….

I would pay good money to see a vid of Joe’s catch.

Can you try a different bar on it Gimlet?

Not without buying a new one.

I'll try and get the airline on it tomorrow and make sure the oil ways are clear.

If you’re still stuck mate drop me a PM.

I’m still out of action after the hernia op, so could package and post mine up to you for a week or two if you need it.

Which bar did it come with?
The Techlite ones are utter shite and best in the bin anyway.

The X-Force that Skyland supplied mine with has been brilliant.
