Tree identification help

Hi all

I’m trying to identify one of my favourite trees I like to go and sit by.

I’ve attached some pictures of it. I thought it might be Hawthorne but the bark is different from pictures I’ve seen.

Field Maple It looks .

I'd go with hawthorn or at least some form of Crataegus.  Does it have any berries or thornes on it?

Agreed. Looks like one of the thornless varieties

I would say Cratageus also, and you appear to have a long life line, from yr palm, with the possibility of meeting a tall handsome stranger.. 😉 K

I know what you mean, I wondered that because the leaves look too big to be hawthorn. On the other hand they are hawthorn shape, just magnified.

Bark looks like a hawthorn leaves look abit odd but i defo reckon its a hawthorn

 

 

 

Maybe its the  Midland Hawthorn Crataegus laevigata?

 

Not the common one Crataegus monogyna
