When are we finally going to have a test case and a line in the sand? People round here rip the piss with fasttracs hauling thirteen tonners.

Personally i think we will see a big increase in road side checks, i think the trap is all ready set and it will be a very easy income for Borris to pay some of the money back that he paid out to all his mates in the covid epidemic, !!,,

So are you just saying to run white in tractors and crack on?

What strikes me about running a tractor on DERV is that it could be construed that you are using the tractor outside its licensing or C&U regulations.

The tax on fuel for road use was only ever to produce an income stream for the governement, nothing to do with climate change or pollution, so now that atmospheric CO2 is an issue the only reason for not taxing all fossil fuel is because of the problems with fishing rail transport, farming and forestry. Time to bite the bullet IMO.

Why would you put white in it?

Basically admitted you think it’s not Ag/Forestry use, and the lid is off the can of worms then.

Where ever has it been said you can only use a tractor for Agri/Forestry, and nothing else.

The government has not took into account how much bio go's in red compared to what is in white.

Do you mean Tax and insurance.

This is where I and literally anyone else including just about anyone in authority will come up with a complete range of answers and it ends up being labelled a grey area!🤷‍♂️

Things like,

Your car licence wouldn’t be valid for the category commercially.

Tacho and Digital Driver Card

LGV Licence

Driver CPC

Taxation Category

White Diesel

You’ve then got the actual setup in terms of speeds, brakes, weights, steering, etc etc etc.

As Doobin said a test case to clear the lot up would be fantastic, but it’s been going on that long it’ll seemingly never end and we’ll never get clear guidance.

Yes big grey area, but the government has made it easier with stating you must use white so one grey area cleared up.

Insurance we sort it and get right cover.

Licence well tractor is a tractor and drive it at young age.

It will be interesting what the out come will be when all the parts above us all have no idea.

A tractor is only a tractor when used for agricultural applications!!
