Very nice video and work. I'm interested to know what your using to film and how you attach it to your helmet.

One small note of caution, be careful when making the second cut of a step cut above the first, especially when using a crane. Your saw can be caught. Please tell me to shut up if i,m stating the bleeding obvious.

Good point. The crane operator only applies as much tension as I tell him, so there's not much chance of the sections lifting prematurely, unless I get it wrong of course.

 

I often, although not always, finish with the top cut to create a lip whereby the butt-end can't then kick back at me.

 

The camera is actually in a case, strapped around my chest, with a second strap behind my neck. The case has a hole for the lens to pop in and out. It works as you can see but is often just a little too close, especially on the bigger stuff.
