Might explain why mine started slipping in less than 10 months !

Petzl Other. We have received reports of users experiencing rope slippage while using the ZIGZAG, ZIGZAG PLUS and ZILLON. Following these reports, we have identified two defects causing the slippage. We therefore ask you to do a manual inspection and a function test of your product, to detect any possible slippage. In case your product slips, we are providing details on our after-sales returns service.

Certain batch only apparently.

@Joe Newton check yours mate, I remember you said you were burning through them pretty quickly.

You say that Mark but the serial numbers are between 18L and 21G....that's 3 years of zigzags to be inspected and possibly returned

Indeed, pretty big batch!

Good chance to swap worn out ones for new though….

Cheers mate, I reckon I've got at least 2 within that criteria that I've worn out.

I've just bought a thicker line from Honeys to get a bit more life out of my current one.

Will be nice to get a new one considering my last one did 7 months before it started dropping me.
