GPS Tracking Device for chipper.?

I bought new chipper, big investment for me , i would like to protect it as much as possible, any recommendations lad's?

Abax is about 12e monthly

I have few of those and only problem that I have had with those is that some times when I start engine, starter drops battery level low for just couple of seconds but abax send me email that says it has been disconnected

I have automatics ones. Not connected to the battery so a lot harder for scum to locate and easier for you to hide. They also can be located via radio signals as well as gps once put into alarm mode.

I know a person with a touring caravan that uses an old mobile phone with the GPS setting on. He just puts it under the seat. The problem is it needs charging once a week

I went with the company TruTrak, monthly about half a lot of the others. There seems to be a few manufacturers of the actual equipment and then loads of people reselling and adding the tracking service.

It's a balance too, I figured not spend top dollar on the tracker and then spend a few hundred on chain and ground anchor, and wheelclamp. Motorcycle security people do chains you can't bolt cut, and take a while to grind eg Pragmasis 19mm.

Think it’s about £16 per month, so 50p a day. Service has been great from them.
