Electric Kettles not made in china?

Had a Breville kettle for about a 10 months still going made in PRC so China. 

Got fed up with cheap flasks last week so ordered a Thermos, turned up and made in China.

Been faultless for a good few years now.

Dualit's shifted most of it to China! Mind there toasters over rated China ones had made the Dualit poor value always breaking elements.timer dies.toasty stuff always getting stuck. Friends toaster you get bing and it throws it across the room and always toasted nicely.

I wanted one as made here and used to be one of our customers but once had soon learn't to regret it.

 

New Dualit you can't repair mind don't know how there going to get on with new repair it directive?

My siemens porsche kettle is made Germany i think as had yonks they also did a toaster!

I bought a cheap "Thermos Cafe" MIC, kept warm for about 3 hours, returned and bought genuine from Thermos UK , also MIC....Keeps hot for 18 hours 🤨

I did repair the timer on our Dualit toaster with a cheap part off the internet and some help from Youtube!

 

I don’t get this outsourcing to China bollocks.

Most of us would be happy to pay a bit more for genuine British stuff if the quality was there.

If only that were the case. As a small charcoal maker selling it is difficult. I know its better than all imported but its more expensive as well and that is a stumbling block for most people IMO

Get it shipped back, Union Jack stamped on the bags, jobs a good ‘un!
