If anything Jason, it will stretch yr body in different ways so will help you in other ways, plus it makes you more attuned to wot the climber is going to need next. Clueless groundies make even a good climber look shit. K

If you've only been at it for a few months, then stay on the ground. You need to learn the job first. Given a year of working hard, drinking lots of water, and eating more sensible, youll be a leaner version of your former self !

Learn knots, learn saw saftey, learn good pruning, you'll be doing VERY well if you're worth your salt after just a year !

But if you are somehow miraculously offered a course, never say no ! Although, it's best not to go in to these things totaly green. If you can learn as much as you can from observing and asking questions, it'll help you.

Long story short, you're rushing it.

.... It dont show Don  [emoji16] i put on 2 kilos over Lockdown and now hate myself [emoji39]K
To be precise I weigh 121kg allot lighter than I was a couple of years ago I miss been bigger but the trade off is worth it I have so much less back pain now [emoji108]
