If anyone's considering a cs100 mine is now on arb trader. Gutted to leave the club as its a great machine but it's just not getting the use as much now as my work has changed and suits a tow behind chipper.

How do and of these wee chippers perform with stuff such as hedge trimmings and bulky pruning's. I have an old entec treebusta which is great for branches but a PITA for anything bulky. Ideally I would love a elite super profi 200 with conveyer but having a problem finding one.

Tell me about it. I ended up buyimg new as I could not find one . Then 7 years later I finally found a virually brand new one with the custom trailer, so I brought it and sold the other one. They seem to be rarer than hens teeth

I've got an eliet prof 4 with hydraulic roller, brilliant little shredder on anything upto 3"

How do you get on with the eliet machines? I've been toying with the idea of getting a shredder for hedge cuttings etc. I suppose there is no need to worry about stones etc going in there because its a shredder rather than a chipper?

I'm thinking about making compost using the shreddings etc, what sort of materiel/shred do you get left with after shredding?

I have 2 different grading plates for mine, one has smaller holes so the material is very similar in the size to normal chip and the other has much bigger holes so the material that comes out is larger and more twiggy.

That's the bigger material if I change the plate (which takes less than 30 seconds) I can make much smaller chip.

These machines love conifer having a hydraulic roller feed and 24 blades.
