Right, I need to re-engine our TP100 wee chipper. Originally had V-Twin B&S Vanguard 18hp which blew and was replaced in a hurry by a woefully underpowered Lister Petter AA1 diesel, rated a 1.5hp but disgracefullly cranked up to attempt to pass off as acceptable. All this pre our ownership. Sure it'll chip upto 1" but after that it's abuse all the way and overheats. Not fair on the ol lump. Need something like a LP LV2 or AC2, AP2, other twin or Kubota etc, iro 15hp diesel or 18hp petrol.

Anything sitting around, surplus etc, would be interested to buy...

The Briggs and Stratton 14hp single cylinder 420cc is a decent lump . Less than £ 600 buff new its a proper good powerful engine .
