Spot on and can fabricate an extension bar easily. The electric saws available can be fitted with existing bars.

My father was a fabricator so that will be his jurisdiction 😅

However I wonder if an 090 and 54" bar would fit 🤣

Can't wait for Sunday, belated Xmas present!

Was organising this lump earlier ready to make a start, only to find thread stripped on one of my mills U bolts 🤦‍♂️

Narrowest part 40", Widest will be around 47" x 6ft 6"

My machine wouldn't lift but only the end and had to drag it... just 😅

Definitely not a lump for the F2!!!

I see that when running a chainsaw there is an orange pole that goes over the bar I assume to prevent sag and increase accuracy of the cut.

Does it limit the bar size you can use ? Presumably it does.

In its original conception the M Series was aimed at farmers knocking out fence posts etc. With its single head support its never gonna be that accurate and will only get worse the longer the bar you put on it. If Logosol recommend a maximum length bar I'll assume they've tested with a longer one and where not satisfied with the results.

You should only expect so much from a tool aimed at making fenceposts and beams. If you're planning on maxing it out to any kind of accuracy you're headlining into Bandsaw territory.

A 54" bar is a fair length but with a good solid support bar i see no reason why it would not work. Log size is the main thing your up against then. A ton log is a fair lump and the one in the photo would not be that heavy looking at the length of it.

Only really required on the longer bars.Up to 20" is pretty stable and some never use the support bracket

My machine will lift 1.2, that didn't move it other than an end. And it would certainly not fit an F series that I know!!
