personally I don’t really see the point in tats in general but I do have a few .but don't particularly like them or dislike them .The end results of the art is usually pretty amateur to a certain extent or maybe I was expecting too much.very few artists are actually any good at it .

Ooh I do like skinny Tommy

Haha. That was a few years ago to be fair. Went skinnier, then fatter then heading back towards skinny again before middle age hits.

My theory is you won't be able to see if I'm out of shape if I'm covered in tats?

Small world. Sadly my experience with the artist who was deemed best to do my design was pretty negative.
The guys talent is amazing. First class tattoo work. I gave him my brief via email but he decided for me that it was old hat and I should choose his idea. I wasn’t keen on his idea so he said he wouldn’t do my tattoo as it wasn’t his thing. He said he would see if one of their other artists would do the work and that was the last I heard from him.
It was very clear in the email conversation if you weren’t selecting a design he personally liked he wouldn’t do it.
Not good service.
The reason I selected their studio was a friends son had a sleeve done and I was amazed by the quality of work. Their studio isn’t local and I was happy to spend about £1500 as a budget so I was very disappointed with being brushed off as the artist didn’t like the design.

Hey I don’t like what some customers as me to do to their trees but I always carry out their work to the same standards .....

Sadly, some artists who get a good rep get so into their niche they won’t deviate.

Another friend went to Good Times tattoo and had Nicole Lowe from London Ink do his first sleeve.  He did research and it is really difficult to get to even see her.  He went in after a long wait, took in a picture of Sawasvarti (sp) (Indian goddess) .  He is a clever sod my Mate and he reeled her in hook line and sinker.  Apparently there are two incarnation of the Goddess, one showing he left nipple and one showing the right nipple.

One is Hindi the other is Tibetan Buddhist.  Nicole Lowe specialises in Tibetan Buddhist Iconography.

When she questioned the showing nipple, he explained it all to her, which she already knew and then insisted she had to do it.

He has had both sleeves done now and both legs, all by her.  No waiting as he is a valued customer.

I think when they get to that level they will pick and choose who to be their canvas.

Edit: only one leg.

Thats awesome Rich. There are 2 brothers called Robert and Andy Pho out in Las Vegas and Hawaii. Do some amazing stuff that looks like statues. Would be real bucklist stuff

Tommy, I checked the good times site and Nikole’s Instagram and low and behold...  my mates leg was in there.  I haven’t seen it for a while, only outlines last time I was back in the UK.

Check the quality of this out.

This is mine.

Many folk remark on just how tasteful and powerful they find it.

I am thinking about adding some testicles at a later date.

I would feel a bit of a prick going around with that one!

The only one I found amusing was this one but now I see it has been done too many times.
