The rooks round here are pulling them off the trees and flying off with them . There beaks are wide open when they fly by .

We went to Turkey a couple of years ago. We found some huge walnuts in a market one day, they looked to be a similar size to these.
I believe there are many types or varieties of walnuts, the ones we eat are just few. In China they have them in a range of sizes from pea to egg sized.
