I picked it some timber today and it was Strawberry tree. Never seen one that big before. Around 3.5ft dia at the base.

 

I have one bottom trunk section, and several 12-20” dia lengths as well

 

Of interest to any one ?

Defo! I'm not a Miller, but I've seen the results of strawberry. Unfortunately,  it was a couple of years after I had logged up the only one I've ever taken down.

Big lump is still available. Some of the smaller bits were bought

Lovely colours

Still some largish bits left, but ground needs to dry out a bit before I can grab them
