Back in the early 80's, we used to have cars going off the road all the time, ad my Dad would offer to tow them out for 25quid. They'd cough and splutter, so he'd let them borrow the phone to ring the local garage for a tow truck, they were only too grateful then to pay him his 25. The garage wanted 35 callout, plus 25 a mile each way, and we were a mile from the garage.

When i first had my landrover someone had put there car in the ditch down the lane by my house. He was obviolsy drunk at the time becasue he was fast asleep at the wheel in the morning when i found him there.

 

I thought he was dead at first, anyway i told him it would cost him 20quid and i warned him that id proberly rip his bumper off, he was ok with that. So i made sure i ripped the bumper off

Nah keep those so-and-sos well out of it.......we had someone go through a hedge and i charged him £1500 or i would call the police.....he was back in 30 mins with the cash......use them as a threat to get more money, its a better deterrent than they will give him i reckon.
