  1. Try flowfit they do engine mounted hydraulic pumps
  2. have a vt and pulley on my wire strop works really well

  12. i think hydraulic winch would be best for tree work, electric winches are only good for short bursts
  13. if you go onto the knott uk site it has loads of info about setting auto reverse brakes up properly,all the different makes of auto reverse use the same principle
  14. they sell the kit as it does make it easier to reverse, i personally have never needed to use them with a 300tdi disco in low range
  15. at least someone agrees with me. the springs are in the hubs,if they are not releasing properly maybe you need to strip down hub and check that the springs are not broken
  16. with auto reverse brakes there is a spring which lets off the tension when reversing so brakes will disengage when you reverse. that is why they are called auto reverse brakes

  19. you need 2 tubs to catch the oil as there is a crossmember directly underneath drain plug
  20. great machine, until you have to do an engine oil change, very awkward job to do
